It depends on the size of the RV, the bigger the RV the longer it takes to do a detailed inspection. Some have two bathrooms, and some have 5 slides etc.

How long does a RV inspection take?

A 40 foot motor home will take approx 8-10 hours to complete. It takes time to look into every detail of these complicated machines. 5th wheels and travels trailers can take between 6-8 hours. Horse trailers 4-6 hours. Truck campers 4-5 hours.

Should I give the dealer or seller a deposit to hold the RV I'm considering?

YES! Please make sure that you have in writing that your deposit is FULLY refundable for any reason, this is in case I find something that you are uncomfortable with during my inspection.
